Illinois State Senator Don Harmon of Oak Park has introduced a bill to bill to introduced a phased-in ban on the use of neonicotinoid pesticides in the state of Illinois. These are the substances that have been linked to bee colony collapse syndrome, and are widely regarded to pose a serious threat to our entire food system.
